My work sits where artificial intelligence meets human agency, language, interaction, responsibility and real-world decision making.
I lead the Human-Centred Artificial Intelligence research group at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg and the Human-Centred Technologies for Educational Media department at the Georg Eckert Institute. My background spans computational linguistics, information retrieval, machine learning, human-computer interaction and digital humanities.
